Vacuum Casting Machine (2‐in‐1, 3‐in‐1 Systems)
Combines vacuum (to remove air and reduce porosity) and often pressure methods to fill moulds nicely. Some machines are marketed as “2-in-1”, “3-in-1” meaning they combine functions like melting, vacuum, and casting in one unit.
When it’s used: When high precision, fine detailed jewellery, minimal porosity, premium quality castings are required (e.g., export oriented jewellery, intricate designs).
Advantages:
Better finish, fewer defects (voids/bubbles).
Good for complex moulds, fine jewelry work.
Induction Casting Machines
Uses electromagnetic induction to melt the metal, and then casting is carried out. The induction heating allows precise control of temperature and melting.
When it’s used: When you need more advanced control over melting, different alloys, and higher productivity.
Advantages:
Precise temperature control → better metallurgy, lower metal loss.
Good for multiple alloys (gold, silver, etc) with consistent performance.
Centrifugal Casting Machines
Metal is poured into a mold and the mold is rotated (centrifugally) so that the metal is forced into the cavities by the centrifugal force.
Good for smaller-scale jewellery items (rings, bangles, pendants) where high density casting is needed and moulds are simpler.
Advantages:
Good filling of moulds due to force helping metal flow.
Relatively simpler than some vacuum/pressure systems.
